So now here I was running for dear
life from a potential skinhead riot where two of my friends were going to be on
opposing sides. Jason was my ride home and I needed to figure that out within
the next couple hours or else I would be screwed. So we were back in Medusas
and I was with Anna, Silvia, and Tracy, hiding out from the mayhem outside. At
this point, with all the craziness, all I wanted to do was chill the fuck out. As
I was watching a New Order video play on one of the screens, I noticed in the
distance a few girls totally mauling a guy. I found it funny until I realized
that it was Jenny, Charlotte, and April! My jaw dropped. That fucking lying
little bitch I thought. She was supposed to be in the suburbs with her cousin.
Anna noticed this as well and leaned over to me.
“Holy Fuck! Is that Jenny and the
two morons she was with at Trax?” Anna asked.
“Yes. It. Is.” I said very slowly.
I was ready to confront her when
out of nowhere Darren ran toward me and shoved me into the Mens room.
“Ok Rambo, before you go and cause
a scene, let me fill you in on what’s going on.” Darren said waving his arms.
“Enlighten me, Darren.” I said
angrily.
“So, the three poser stooges over
there went looking around to score some trucker speed and wound up getting Ecstasy
from the dealer by the reggae bar on Clark and now they want to fuck the entire club!” Darren said.
“I never heard of Ecstasy?” I said.
“It basically makes you feel more
sensitive to things. Anyway, that guy they’re fondling out there is 100% gay! I
know because I did him awhile back!” Darren said.
“Whoa Dude! Too much…” I said.
“I’m just saying.” Darren said.
“I can’t believe this! She told me
she was out by her cousin’s house in Palatine this weekend!” I said.
“Well, unless she’s got a twin
sister, that’s her licking that guys ear.” Darren said.
“I’m so fucked! Now my lying
girlfriend is out there high as a kite making out with some other gay dude! Fuck
MY LIFE!”
“Ok. Too much drama. I’m gonna go
now. It’s not worth causing a scene. Keep this little ace card to yourself and
reveal when needed.” Darren said as he left the bathroom.
“I’m getting outta here. I’ll see
ya later Anna.”
“David. Wait!” Anna said.
I snuck out of there without Jenny
seeing me. I could hear yelling in the distance. The cool October night was
thick with tension. The night had become a nightmare.
