Grow A Pair!

“Excuse me, is this The Smiths?” Jenny asked.

“No, this is The Jesus and Mary Chain.” Spencer answered.

“Oh…ok.” Jenny said.

The girls ran along as a pack over to the Jesus and Mary Chain section to look at there new discovery. I wandered around back by the seven inch section when I felt someone pull me in the back room of the store.

“ THAT’S your girlfriend?” Violet said.

“Yep.” I said.

“The annoying poser is YOUR GIRLFRIEND?"

Yeah I get it.” I said.

“Those three morons? I’ll have to try really hard not to degrade her ass.” Violet said.

“Please don’t make a scene, Violet. I really didn’t want to come down here with them. She sort of made me…” I said.

“Made you? Grow a fucking pair David! If you want to be a part of this scene, you can’t be such a pussy! They’ll eat you alive down here." Violet said.

"Jenny gets persistent and it's almost better to deal with it than to fight about it." I said.

" GROW A PAIR!" Violet said as she started to walk out the back room of Trax.

"I'm sorry..." I said shrugging.

"David, seriously--you can do better." Violet said as she walked out on the sales floor.

I snuck out of the backroom and back over to the seven inch section before Jenny and her friends saw me. I noticed they were huddled in the corner whispering something. I didn't  know what they were up to, but it couldn't be good.
