I was hanging out with James and Anna today. After grabbing some coffee at Cafe Voltaire, we walked into a music shop where James was drooling over a Rickenbacker bass. He picked up the bass and plugged it in. Mind you, it's a very expensive bass! I saw the clerk at the shop nervously look on. I guess he thought we looked old enough. Anyway, he started to play "Up Too High" on the bass, which impressed the hell outta me. Anna watched intensely tapping her foot.
After playing it he said, "One day, this will be mine!"
I took a picture of him playing it so he could show people that he played a Rickenbacker bass. James said that it looked like the bass that Paul McCartney from The Beatles had played in the sixties.
When we left we noticed Squats getting into a verbal altercation with a CLAS member across the street. Anna just sighed and said
"David, this is why I hate baldies!"
